About the event
Join us for the first meeting of PODCC (Parents of Disabled Children Coalition) where we're organizing to break down silos and become a connective fiber in the community through direct advocacy and mutual aid. When spaces work for disabled children, they work better for everyone. That's the curb cut effect, and we're putting it into action.
Share what's hardest right now or your vision for a more accessible Durham. Hear from other parents and build connections.
Your child is welcome. Sensory room available for sensory cool-down. Light refreshments available. No pressure to commit to anything - just come see what we're building.
Accommodations:
✅ Wheelchair accessible
